I am Jordi Domínguez Martí, I was born in 1976, I am a family man and I live with my wife Teresa, my daughter Gina and our dog Kenia. My father was already a fishing enthusiast when he was very young, and that’s where my passion comes from: the sea. I have lived all my life among boats and fishing gear, and I took up spearfishing when I was twelve years old, after many years snorkelling on our family outings. I spent my youth fishing at weekends, and later I travelled all over the world, where I was able to dive in different seas. I alternated between angling and spearfishing until, as an adult, I became more into angling, although I still dive with a tank. I used to go fishing with my father and his friends, and as time went by, it was my friends who joined the fishing trips, with me as skipper, and my father at home. When I was able to buy my own boat, I was able to specialise in different types of fishing, so I have experience in all of them, always with the illusion of being able to catch the catch of my dreams. Each season has different objectives, and each species to be fished has its own secrets. Discovering the places, times and ways of fishing is what I am most passionate about, as well as learning about the behaviour of fish and other species. Some things I learned from my father, others from great fishing friends, and some others from my own experience. I am currently a staff member of a team of anglers sponsored by the Spanish artificial lures brand JLC Make your lures. This project is a tribute to my father, and to all the fishing friends who decided to share their knowledge at some point, and above all to the sea, in gratitude for all the good times it has allowed me to experience. So why shouldn’t you be the next one to catch that dream catch? I will put all my heart and soul into making sure that the outing meets your expectations, but we all know that nature is capricious, and in the sea you never know what can happen. Fishing is not just about setting the hook and waiting for the bite, it is about knowledge, respect, love for nature, and sharing …..
